Veteran’s Day Recap:

On Friday, November 11th veteran’s from throughout the city gathered at Karl Road Library for the 4th Annual Veteran’s Day breakfast hosted by Rhema Christian Center. Operating from the theme, “A Warriors Modus Operandi,” focusing on camaraderie, this breakfast paid tribute to those who served our country, as well as provided resource information for veterans.

Daisy Chamberlain, a retired State Farm Insurance Company executive was the speaker for the afternoon. Chamberlin provided words of inspiration as well as presented information on life insurance, end of life burial expenses, and the need for taking advantage of VA benefits in these areas.

In addition to Chamberlin, two testimonials of military service experience were given by Stephane Goldsmith and Derrick McElwrath.
